January 7, 2007 in order to celebrate the 30th anniversary of China’s opening-up and reforming, China Economy Weekly together with People’s daily and Peoples’ web launch the list for Top 100 Economy People of China’s 30-year opening-up and reforming in Beijing. At the launch ceremony, China Economy Weekly announced the list made up of 80 entrepreneurs and 20 scholars. Dr. David Chu, the Chairman of Mission Hills Golf Club was among the list for his huge achievements in golf field and great contributions to China’s sports.
